I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Weißes Roß during Easter with a couple of fellow marine enthusiasts, and it surpassed our expectations! The rooms were impressively clean, and the cozy ambiance made it feel like a home away from home. Breakfast was perfectly adequate, with everything we needed to fuel our adventures, which is key when you're gearing up for a day of hiking in the stunning Erzgebirge. While we opted to explore local dining in town for dinner, I couldn't help but wish we had indulged in the hotel's fare, as I've heard great things about their Saxon cuisine. The friendly staff treated us like family, which resonated with my Bahamian spirit of hospitality. If you're ever in need of that comforting yet chic getaway, this historic gem in Marienberg is definitely the way to go!
